Why I Loved It:  Well I have to say that this book was much steamier than I usually dabble in.  I read this book in public a couple of times, and people were probably wondering why I was blushing.  However, most of the time I was reading the book, I was sick and not in the mood for steamy.  So I did some skipping over those wilder erotic scenes. 

I picked this book from Net Galley thinking that it was YA.  It wasn’t.  But the story was actually pretty interesting.  I’m beginning to love fairies and mysterious creatures.  There was enough mystery woven through the pages to keep me reading despite my little desire for steamy in my gross, sick state.  I thought Mrs. Dark did a pretty good job of developing the characters around Callie.  It really felt like Fairwick was its own special world filled to the brim with magic. 

Though I fell in love with the people around Callie, the house was probably my favorite part.  The home she buys to live in is incredible full of all the Victorian images you could possibly want.  There was a library with just walls full of bookshelves.  Do you know how jealous I am of that room?  I am determined to one day have a library.  It's going to be epic.  And Callie was pretty thrilled to.  As a writer, a teacher, and an avid reader, Callie was my kind of girl, minus the whole sex with a demon thing of course.  I prefer to keep all of my life source.     

Who Should Read It:  If you are one who likes a good steamy book, then you should probably get this as soon as possible.  If you like paranormal books, then you should read it.  If you are that person who loves a good steamy paranormal novel, then The Demon Lover is your new best friend.
