I saw somewhere where someone described it as Downtown Abbey meets Gossip Girl. That. Is. Amazing. And this book was amazing. I only read 13 chapters, but for me this is how The Luxe should have been. Well other than a totally different setting. Here is the summary via Goodreads.

What I read was full of intrigue, mystery, scandal, and a bit of forbidden love. Everyone loves a good tale of forbidden love. There are A LOT of characters. I suppose at times it was a tad overwhelming, but for the most part I think I was introduced and socialized with the different characters enough to get to know them well enough.
I would recommend this especially for the Downtown Abbey fans. It's a pretty awesome book.
