Well there are lots of tragic disasters and epic love stories to choose from. I decided to do a giveaway for a little of both. My readers can choose from the following:
Rise by Anna Carey which is the third book released in the Eve series. It came out on April 2nd. If you have not read the first book yet, you can always request it or the second book.
OR
A Pre-Order of The Elite by Kiera Cass. I thought that the first book was an incredibly epic love story considering the circumstances that America is placed in. Once again, if you have not read the first book, then you may request that.
As always, my winner may submit a request if there is a book that fits the theme of the hop that they are just dying to have.
I will also be doing my usual $15 Amazon gift card along with the book my winner chooses!
Remember this is an INTERNATIONAl giveaway! Whoot!
It was really sad. I'll never let go. :'(
ReplyDeleteIt was sad, and I was pissed that he died...-.-
ReplyDeleteIt was sad but he saved her he put the love first:) and that was amazing thank you for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteDevastated haha there's no other feeling.
ReplyDeleteLong story short,I cried like a baby.
ReplyDeleteWhat ending?

ReplyDeleteJack drowning was so so awful!! It would have been better if they'd survived together:)
Thank you:)
I feel nothing. Perhaps a little sad, I guess?
ReplyDeletei hate sad ending....
ReplyDeleteIt was certainly pretty sad.
ReplyDeleteIt was extremely sad, but I respected the fact that she finally let go. Thanks for this awesome giveaway
ReplyDeleteI am not a fan for sad endings... I always want the characters to live happily ever after. However, books seem to move me more than most movies. So, the first time I watched it I cried, but sense then it really hasen't bothered me.
ReplyDeleteIt was sad that Jack drowned but wonderfully romantic that he sacrificed himself for Rose! Thanks for this amazing giveaway - I would love to win!
ReplyDeleteSuz Reads in Rafflecopter
Sad of course but what he did for her was so beautiful, the kind of things that happen only in books or movies where people forget about their preservation instinct for the loved one... Thanks a lot for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteit was heartwrenching but I guess that is what it needed to be, part of me wishes there was a happier ending for jack but that wouldnt have made the movie as good so I guess I like the way it ended
ReplyDeleteSo, so sad, I had a lump in my throat.
ReplyDeleteSo very sad, me and my best friend were crying our eyes out when the kids got home from school "But he died!!!!" We still laugh about it today, but I refuse to ever watch the movie again.
ReplyDeleteIt was beautiful
ReplyDeleteI hated it.
ReplyDeleteI never wanted to see the movie, but I always thought the real-life story was horribly tragic. So many of the deaths could have been prevented with better planning, and the fact that most of the poorer people in steerage died (while the richer people managed to get lifeboats) is so horribly wrong.

So... I've always had a problem with the end of the movie. It just seems wrong that Rose held on to this love with Jack that she experienced for like 5 min in the scheme of things and married, had kids, and a husband that she didn't reunite with, but instead the Titanic and JACK?!
ReplyDeleteDon't get me wrong, I loved the movie, and thought it was great in other ways, but that always made me kind of sad...
jack <3
ReplyDeleteI love it. I cry every damn time!
ReplyDeleteLoved it :)
ReplyDeleteLove it. Saw it in the theater 12 times! I was a little obsessed...
ReplyDeleteI couldn't stop crying. WHY JACK?????
ReplyDeleteSad!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway! Honestly I was a little sad.
ReplyDelete-Cali W.
Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteShattered me. Broke my heart and was crushed into pieces.
-Riz B.
I really liked it, even though it was undoubtably tragic.
ReplyDeleteI loved the ending. They did end up together when she died...dancing on the ship, I cried! ;)
ReplyDeleteIt was heart breaking.....
ReplyDeleteThe ending of Titanic was so sad that I could not stop crying. Thank you for the awesome giveaway and have a wonderful day!!
ReplyDeleteI was sad and heartbroken because I love happy endings
ReplyDeleteBroke my heart! They should have died together or both lived!!
ReplyDeleteI agree that it was sad but I still loved it. I cry every time!
ReplyDeleteCried buckets. BUT I know that it was essential or it wouldn't have been as epic as it was. So yeah.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much!
I have cried about it literally EVERY TIME LOL
ReplyDeleteYa know, I've honestly never even made it through all of Titanic.
ReplyDeleteIt was very sad!!!!
ReplyDeletei cried for the end
I hated the ending it was one of those crying ends..but I have rewatched it numerous times.."Life goes on"
ReplyDeleteI cried and cried and cried!
ReplyDeleteWas pretty sad.!!! Poor Jack! I cried a lot the first time! :(
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for this awesome Giveaway! ♥
rafflecopter name: Joss A.
Felt really sad for Rose:( Thank you for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteThere was definitely more space for Jack, she just needed to move over a smidgen!
ReplyDeleteI hated it.
ReplyDeletewhy couldn't they keep switching who stayed on the mirror so they both could have lived, or maybe found something else to float on! carawling(at)hotmail(Dot)com
ReplyDeleteI found it really sad, but I didn't cry (I don't really ever cry for books/movies) but yeah... I only recently watched it. It was a good movie! Thanks for the amazing giveaway :)
ReplyDeleteRabiah
Thought it was so full of grief and loss.
ReplyDeleteSad, of course...
ReplyDeletePersonally I wasn't that into the movie. I mean it was good but I wouldn't watch it more than once. With only watching this movie only once I thought the ending was a little too much. I mean it was okay but I just wasn't that into to begin with. Thank you so much for a chance to win and for being a part of this fun and awesome blog hop!!
ReplyDeleteI cried all the tears, all!!! Not only because of Jack, but because of all the people who lost their lives in the tragedy. Sooo sad!
ReplyDeleteWell. It was sad...
ReplyDeleteReally, what's to feel about it except sad that it happened and the films about it can't change that fact that over 1200 people lost their lives on that fateful voyage.
ReplyDeleteThey both could have fit on the board!!! I wasn't that sad because I was too outraged
ReplyDeleteThis picture says it all:http://www.theblaze.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/Different-Titanic-Jack-Rose-Configurations.jpg
i was sad n cried a bit...
ReplyDeleteOh geez now I'm just reliving the sadness.......WHY DID JACK HAVE TO DIE?!................and just thinking about the actual Titanic tragedy......just D: ........and the musicians still playing while the ship sank.......
ReplyDeletewell it fit the movie but i wish that he had lived and that they could have lived happily ever after!
ReplyDeleteThe end, were Rose threw the necklace overboard, makes me laugh every time.
ReplyDeleteI thought it was pretty depressing, but I loved how Rose threw the necklace into the sea. La Coeur de la Mer suits it perfectly.
ReplyDeleteI remember Rose throwing the necklace into ocean but can't remember if that's the very end. I would have kept the necklace as a memento not chucked it into the ocean. I thought the movie was sad and hated that Jack died and Billy Zane (?name in movie) survived.
ReplyDeleteI still feel like it was Rose's fault Jack died! But the movie makes me cry every time. I saw it like 8 times in the theater.
ReplyDeleteI always hated her throwing the necklace into the water--I understand the significance, but I always thought, "why not donate it to a charity auction or a museum?" It just seemed so wasteful! lol
ReplyDeleteIt was well written. But a part of me is still mad at Rose for not figuring out a way to share that door!
ReplyDeleteIt was definitely tragic, but it could've ended in a less heartbreaking way.
ReplyDeleteCrap. the movie was perfect until the ending, and then it lost me. I think they could have ended it a lot differently, and it wouldn't have taken away from the tragedy that the movie was about. I will forever be pissed at the crap ending.
ReplyDeleteIf we mean the movie, I was alright with it. I actually don't like the film.
ReplyDeleteThis is ALWAYS my reaction: Why do Jack have to die????
ReplyDeleteWell, the ending sucks! I just hoping they can be together.
ReplyDeleteThanks for this giveaway.
The ending was sad. It's too bad that two people who loved each other could not be together.
ReplyDeleteI actually don't really remember. I wasn't into love stories when my cousin made me watch it but I know she cried, I think I just shrugged at the end of the movie ;) Maybe I should try to watch it again...
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great giveaway!
It was tragic, but I loved it! I remember I bawled my eyes out!!
ReplyDeleteI thought it was unbearably sad when I watched it. I cried all the way home from the theatre! I mean, I knew the boat would sink and lives would be lost, but it was heartwrenching to watch her just start to love this man and find herself, only to have it ripped away. (Although, really, she could have shared space on that door...) :)
ReplyDeleteIt was perfect - not a common happily everafter, but it suited the story.
ReplyDeleteTEARS. That's the ending of Titanic for me! :(
ReplyDeleteI cried the horrible cry at the end.
ReplyDeleteRafflecopter Name Dawna Newman
.... I WAS LIKE jackkkkk!!!!!!!!!!noooooooooo!!!!! ..
ReplyDeletealmendra in the rafflecopter
I cried. If I watched it again now I would probably still cry. Thank you for the giveaway! :D
ReplyDeleteThe real Titanic was tragic and said, the movie, I was just glad it was over.
ReplyDeleteIt was a sad ending. Jack dying. It was an act of love though. Incredibly sad yet sweet.
ReplyDeleteCried my eyes out at the end of the movie and feel awful about how the event itself unraveled. Thanks for the great giveaway! Can't WAIT to read The Elite!
ReplyDeleteIt think it was so sad and yet so breathtakingly beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteI cried like a baby after watching the movie!
ReplyDeleteit was sad
ReplyDeleteVery Very Sad.
ReplyDeleteIt was terrible! They made it, they got off the boat safely together and then he dies! It's a horrible ending! I hate it!
ReplyDeleteIt was sad, it made me wish that it was a true story!
ReplyDeleteThe ending was so tragic!! I remember being sad about it for DAYS. Heck, I'm STILL sad about it.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking that they could have found a way to share the door and how hard that would have been to let him go into the ocean.
ReplyDeleteIt was heartbreaking
ReplyDeleteIt was sad and hopeful at the same time.
ReplyDeleteI love the movie Titanic. It's epic and tragic and it's one of my favorites. I actually went and saw that movie in the theater four times one weekend. I was THAT obsessed. As far as epic love stories go, I love 'Outlander' by Diana Gabaldon. The heroine travels through time and meets the man of her dreams. How epic is that! And, he's a higher ranking Jacobite Highlander. Hot.
As far as tragic love stories, I loved the book "Atonement" by Ian McEwan. It's totally tragic that the lovers are separated first by an unfound accusation, a war and finally death. It's so sad but so beautiful how much they did love one another.
Thanks for the giveaway!

It was sad and tragic.
ReplyDeleteToo sad... very upset that the Leo Dicaprio character died. I remember the whole audience was in tears
ReplyDeleteseyma_bennett@hotmail.com
I am not sure if you mean the actual Titanic, which of course was terrible although the stories about the band playing on really warm my heart, or the movie, which was not really my thing (not a romance fan in the slightest).
ReplyDeleteTragic.
ReplyDeleteSo sad!
ReplyDeleteSad. They COULD have both survived... But I still like the movie.
ReplyDeleteit was very sad.
ReplyDeleteSo sad but romantic as well
ReplyDeleteAlthough I'm a hopeless romantic who loves happy endings, it was supposed to be a tragic love story. And I'm okay with that.
ReplyDeleteTRAGIC.
ReplyDeleteI loved the ending even though it was so sad.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
Obviously it was terrible. For all those people to lose their lives and the ship not to be ready for any of it.

I entered your Titanic Giveaway Hop
ReplyDeleteIt would be great to win a copy of
Rise by Anna Carey or The Elite by Kiera Cass
and the $15 Amazon gift card.
In response to your question of So about the ending to the Titanic.... how did you feel about it?
I thought it was a very good movie
it was sad at the end
but at least rose had a long life
but i still think she should have gave the necklace to her granddaughter
instead of throwing it in the ocean.
Thank you for having this giveaway!!!!!!
It was a perfect ending to an awesome movie.
ReplyDeleteIt was very emotional.. I cried..
ReplyDeleteThe very-end ending? When she goes back? I love it - always cry. Though I feel really bad for the poor guy Rose married in order to keep her promise to Jack. The poor guy who didn't know his wife already had an epic love with her actual soulmate, you know?
ReplyDeleteI think the ending was so sad!
ReplyDeletekimberlybreid at hotmail dot com
It was very sad. But it was a beautifully done ending.
ReplyDeleteI hated that he died. It was so sad.
ReplyDeleteIt was sad, but at least they were finally together in the end.
ReplyDeleteConfession: never saw or read it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the contest.

ReplyDeleteRomantic, Jack sacrificing for Rose to be saved, but sad. Thanks for a chance to win this wonderful giveaway!
ReplyDeleteTragic.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen the movie, but everyone knows what happened. It was one of the great tragedies of our age.
ReplyDeleteThe ending was a tear jerker and I was not prepared for it. It was one of those endings that you never forget.
ReplyDeleteI cry every time....something that I found new meaning in as I got older.
ReplyDeleteoddball2003 at hotmail dot com
Honestly, I have never sat through the whole movie to see the ending. But obviously I know what happens, and it is devastating!
ReplyDeleteI cried like a baby! I loved the ending, even though it was so sad.
ReplyDeleteThe end? Do you mean the sinking? The finding of the wreck? The ongoing battle about whether or not to salvage stuff or leave it as a tomb? Sorry, I'm a bit muddled by your question.
ReplyDeleteIt was sad, but I was happy with the way it ended....
ReplyDeleteI loved it, but I remember rushing to the bathroom. It was LONG!
ReplyDeleteIt was pretty sad and heartbreaking, but I think it was a perfect ending.
