I can't help but adore this book. And they are making a movie out of it. I am hesitant to get excited about that yet though. The Great Gatsby is kind of sacred to me. So you can just imagine how I would feel if they ruined it.

That's exactly how I feel about the movie, too! I don't want them to ruin such an amazing book. Have you seen the original movie? (It's okay... doesn't stand up to the novel.)
