Top Ten "But I Have to Have the Book to Live" Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday: Top Books I Just Had to Buy But Haven't Read Yet
This meme is hosted by the lovely ladies at The Broke and the Bookish.  Go check them out.

2.  The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan

3.  Graceling by Kristin Cashore

4.  The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath

5.  A Temptation of Angels by Michelle Zink

6.  Illuminate by Aimee Agresti

7.  The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater

8.  Spell Bound by Rachel Hawkins

9.  Bittersweet by Sarah Ockler

10.  When She Woke by Hillary Jordan

I still really want to read all of these.  And you would think I was feverish considering how necessary it seemed for me to get them in the store... but yet there they still sit, unread on the shelf.  Must be depressing to be an unread book.

Do you have a list?  Please share with me, and I will try to check it out.

  1. Looking at the pile of unread books makes me feel feverish too, just imagine all the excitement when I first got that book-of-my-dreams! Now it's still untouched on my shelf *sigh* In any case, Statistical Probability is a really cute contemporary and I strongly recommend it! :D

    1. I am planning on it. I mean, comparatively, it's super skinny. There is no excuse for letting it sit so long.

  3. I have #1 on my list, too! I've also got several of the others, but since I didn't BUY them, I'm not going to count them. Phew!

    1. Oh isn't that a great out? I had a few that I didn't count since I didn't buy them.

  4. Ah, The Lost Hero. I have held off buying those because I want to wait until the whole series is finished. I was able to do that with Percy and I'd rather read them all in one go :)
My list was ridiculously easy to put together...but it looks like it was easy for lots of other bloggers as well so I don't feel quite so bad!

    1. Oh yes, it was way too easy. And at this rate, they will be out before I get a chance to read them.

  5. If this is the list of the books you haven't read, I can't imagine how fantastic the list of the books you have read might be! The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight is amazing. And The Scorpio Races is one of my all time fav YA books!

  6. Great List! The Bell Jar is one of my top three books of all time! I've been really wanting to pick up the Scorpio Races and the Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight BUT I have SO MANY unread books, that I feel like I have to get to those first.

    1. I know that I am letting myself down by putting off The Bell Jar. It's sad.
