Anne of Green Gables was one of my first loves as a child.  The older I got, the more I seemed to relate with Anne *with an E* Shirley.  She opened a door to the magical world of imagination that I had yet to full discover on my own.  And she made me want to write, to fill pages with my little thoughts and dreams and quirky observations about life in general.  I will always be grateful to L.M. Montgomery and Anne Shirley for having such a great impact on me.
