Thursday Hunk Throwdown

Ok, in honor of the new Hunger Games movie coming out next Friday *MARCH 23*, I decided to go Hunger Games style.  I'm so excited *excited squeal* about the new movie.  I mean I've gone total fangirl here.  I already have my tickets for the midnight release, and my excitement could rival the biggest Twilight fan.  Anyways, now there is so much debate in the world of fans about Team Peeta vs. Team Gale.  I always pictured Gale as this ruggedly gorgeous guy in the book while Peeta was more of the sensitive type on who's shoulder you would want to cry on.  In my humble opinion, I think the fine makers of the new movie got their casting right for Katniss's two love interests in the book.  So without further ado...

Hunk #1: Josh Hutcherson is to play Peeta, the boy madly in love with Katniss.  I don't find it creepy that I think he is attractive because he is only a year younger than me.  For some of the older gals, not so much.  Either way, I think the fact that he was casted for this role has let me hope that the movie is going to be good.  They might know what they are doing... ;)

Hunk #2: Liam Hemsworth is to play Gale.  I just realized that this is the second time Liam has been on my hunk panel.  That must say something, right?  He's got the rugged good looks thing down.  He's one of those guys that I just want to touch.  But alas, I'm a lowly book blogger so I don't see that happening anytime soon. 

Ok now make sure you get your tickets and go see the movie.  SO MUCH EXCITEMENT!

Thursday Hunk Throwdown

Ok so most of you won't see my logic, but after watching The Vow I decided this week's THT is going to be done Nicholas Spark style.  (For those of you who don't understand the logic follow: Channing Tatum plays in The Vow and he also played in Dear John which is a Nicholas Sparks's book.)

Ok so now that we are all on the same page, let's view our panel!

Ok starring as HUNK #1 is the inspiration of this whole week and star from Dear John.  Channing Tatum.. Completely gorgeous in every way... if you look really closely you can see the freckles on his shoulders.  There is something SO cute about those things.

Starring as HUNK #2 is the star from A Walk To Remember.  I don't know how many of ya'll remember Shane West, but I sure do.  He was definitely one of the guys I had a celebrity crush on.  

Starring as HUNK #3 is the star from The Last Song.  Liam Hemsworth is coming up in the world ladies.  For any of you girls who are living under a rock and haven't seen The Hunger Games trailer (I personally like to watch it at least once a week) he's the man picked to play Gale.  He also played quite the boyfriend to Miley Cyrus's train wreck of a character.      

Starring as HUNK #4 is the star from the oh-so-famous movie The Notebook.  Ryan Gosling is a personal favorite of mine, and some of my book blogging friends.  I mean look at that picture people!  I can't help but drool, but just a little.  You know the appropriate and society approved amount...
