Thursday Hunk Throwdown

I'd say so far, I've been sticking with hunks associated with shows/movies associated with books.  I'm going to continue that trend as long as possible.  So now I'm going to go Gossip Girl style.  I'm behind (of course), but slowly I'm catching up.  It's sad.  I know that.  Gossip Girl has always been a guilty pleasure for me.  No judgement!

Hunk #1 is Penn Badgley who plays Dan Humphrey on the show.  Ok so I'll admit I have watched the show because of him.  No he's not the hottest guy in Hollywood, but with a bit of stubble I find him really attractive.  His character is so appealing with his lonely boy writer persona.  I will say I am NOT a Dair fan.  At all.

Hunk #2 is Chace Crawford or Nate Archibald.  He's come a long way on the show.  I kind of even respect him now.  Regardless of how I feel though, those EYES!  They are so blue and gorgeous and I'm pretty sure they would see into my very soul.  It's true.

Hunk #3 is Ed Westwick or Chuck Bass.  So for anybody that is not much of a fan, you may not know this, but Ed is British.  I have watched interviews.  If he was able to talk like that on the show... mmmm.  Mr. Westwick also has a pretty good voice and is the lead singer of the band The Filthy Youth.  Accent... musician... gorgeous... And I'm very much a fan of Chuck and Blair.  Yep.  That's not changing.

Hunk #4 is Hugo Becker and really not a staple character, but he does happen to play the prince and love interest in Blair's life, Louis Grimaldi.  Ok I have to admit, for a moment, he made me doubt my Chuck/Blair loyalties.  Maybe it was the accent this he does get to use on the show.  Maybe it's the fact that he was so ROMANTIC.  But of course the show won't let him stay amazing.  Upper East Side got to him like it gets to everybody.

Any suggestions for next week's hunk panel?  Let me know!

Thursday Hunk Throwdown

I have to admit that I'm behind on Pretty Little Liars.  School sucks.  That's all I can say.  Well that and any free time I have, I've been lovingly investing in my books.  They are more appealing than tv when free time is so little.  But after someone mentioned Wren on Twitter the other day, I knew how this week's THT would be themed.  We are going into this PLL style.

The main problem I had this week was picking from the multiple gorgeous men that play on the show.  It was hard, and I still have six.  Anyways here we go!

1. Our first man is Yani Gellman who plays the oh-so-mysterious Officer Garrett Reynolds.  He's sneaky and manipulative and very pretty.  I'm not a fan of his character, but not that has nothing to do with his face.

2.  Man #2 is Julian Morris who plays Wren Kim.  Ladies he's gorgeous, an incredible flirt, and he has an adorable British accent.  I stand on the fact that he is my favorite on the show.  I don't care what anybody else has to say on the matter *wink, wink*.

3.  Now Ian Harding who plays Ezra Fitz, former-English teacher and new to the world of teaching at the University.  The whole teacher-dating-a-student thing was never that great for me.  I guess that those traditional values in me were screaming too loud.  But I don't think I can argue why Aria was so smitten.

4.  Ah Tyler Blackburn who plays Caleb Rivers.  I know he was supposed to be the bad boy on campus, but I never fell for that.  No one has ever made it as a bad boy with that face.  It's like the most freaking perfect face I've ever seen.  Doesn't that picture make you want to just touch him?  Yea, I thought so.

5.  And Brant Daugherty who plays Noel Kahn.  I'm not going to say much about him except I think he's very pretty too.  If anyone doesn't think so, please tell me so I can inform you that you are completely crazy.

6.  And lastly Drew Van Acker also known as Jason DiLaurentis.  Now, in my mind, he is the true bad boy.  He's so secretive and mysterious and dangerous and delicious.  Yum is all I can say.

Thursday Hunk Throwdown

Ok so most of you won't see my logic, but after watching The Vow I decided this week's THT is going to be done Nicholas Spark style.  (For those of you who don't understand the logic follow: Channing Tatum plays in The Vow and he also played in Dear John which is a Nicholas Sparks's book.)

Ok so now that we are all on the same page, let's view our panel!

Ok starring as HUNK #1 is the inspiration of this whole week and star from Dear John.  Channing Tatum.. Completely gorgeous in every way... if you look really closely you can see the freckles on his shoulders.  There is something SO cute about those things.

Starring as HUNK #2 is the star from A Walk To Remember.  I don't know how many of ya'll remember Shane West, but I sure do.  He was definitely one of the guys I had a celebrity crush on.

Starring as HUNK #3 is the star from The Last Song.  Liam Hemsworth is coming up in the world ladies.  For any of you girls who are living under a rock and haven't seen The Hunger Games trailer (I personally like to watch it at least once a week) he's the man picked to play Gale.  He also played quite the boyfriend to Miley Cyrus's train wreck of a character.

Starring as HUNK #4 is the star from the oh-so-famous movie The Notebook.  Ryan Gosling is a personal favorite of mine, and some of my book blogging friends.  I mean look at that picture people!  I can't help but drool, but just a little.  You know the appropriate and society approved amount...

Thursday Hunk ThrowDown

So since it's my blog, I get to do what I want!  I'm so glad to do that.  Since I've been trying to catch up with season 3 of TVD, I figured I would start a new tradition.  Thursday Hunk Throwdown.  Tell me your picks if you would like.  I'm just happy to admire!

So for all those few people who don't indulge in TVD, let me share the Hunk Throwdown Panel:

1.  Damon Salvator (Ian Somerhalder) is HUNK #1.  Bad boy with that super-sensitive streak who's gaga for Elena.  I'm still not Team Damon on the show, but I can't deny his gorgeousness.

2.  Matt Donovan (Zach Roerig) is HUNK #2 and the boy you can't help but worry about.  He's had a horrible year and had some horrible luck with girls.  I have to say that it's not his looks that is causing his bad luck streak.

3.  Tyler Lockwood (Michael Trevino) is HUNK #3 and one of my favorites on the show.  I hated him at first, but then you turn a boy into a werewolf.  Suddenly I can't help but love him.  Caroline and Tyler are my official favorite couple as of now in Season 3, Episode 4.  There is something about the forbidden love story.

4.  Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley) is HUNK #4.  Season 3 is killing me because I loved Stefan and all his tortured vampire-ness.  We all love a tortured artist.  He's pretty, he's romantic, and right now he's breaking my heart into pieces.  Ripper or not, he's a beautiful one.

And here's your TVD Thursday Hunk Throwdown!  What do you think?
