This scripture has been on my heart and mind for awhile. There's a lot of truth to this scripture, and I love praying it.

"Word" of the Week
This weekend, I have been partying it up at ladies' retreat. It has been a time filled with God's mighty presence. I am sincerely thankful for His love. This was the scripture for the weekend. I hope you have a great Sunday!! Lots of love,

"Word" of the Week
For me, that idea is beautiful and wonderful and it gives me goose-bumpies. The idea that someone rejoices over me? Someone that great and mighty? It's a awesome idea. I really wish I could learn to have that kind of love for other people too though. I'm a work-in-progress.

"Word" of the Week
For me, I have spent this past couple of days soaking in the love that God has for me. It's a crazy thing that love. Not deserving such a love humbles me in a way that I can't even begin to explain.
I hope you have an incredible blessed week.
This song is by Jenny and Tyler, and it's called "Anchored in Love"
It's probably a bit too folksy for most people.

"Word" of the Week
So today is Easter. For Christians, this is one of the greatest days of the year for celebration. For me, the Easter Bunny and eggs have nothing to do with anything for me. Today is a celebration of that fact that Jesus died for my sins and then conquered death. He came back from me just so I could have a shot at an abundant life and eternity with him. It's a pretty incredible thing. I want to honor that today.
My song I chose was Glorious Day (Living He Loved Me) by Casting Crowns.

"Word" of the Week
I "stole" this scripture off of N.E.T. Youth Ministries page. It just went well with the song that had been on my mind. In the midst of all the crazy and the unbelievable amount of distractions that seem to surround us on a daily basis, it seems like this scripture speaks to each of us. That word evermore *since I tend to use NKJV* means always. Seek His face always.
My challenge is to take this week to focus on seeking His face during the week. See what a difference it makes. The song for this week is Francesca Battistelli's song "Strangely Dim".

"Word" of the Week
I guess God has been dealing with me about how my blog does not always reflect my walk with Him. I love books. LOVE BOOKS. But I still want my blog to reflect my relationship with him. I figured I would start doing this along with my "Simply Quotes" on Sundays.
For me, this scripture speaks to my heart about how I need to do everything in my ability to help. Christians get such a bad rep at times, which they should when they are guilty of this, for not reaching out and being the arms and feet of Jesus. We were sent to love and pour out grace and mercy onto those around us. Even if someone doesn't know God, what happened to morals and human generosity? My heart breaks for that love.
It reminds me of this song by Casting Crowns.
